A Bermudian aerialist will be performing later this year when a circus comes to town.

People can now drop off school uniforms and supplies for students and families at Gibbons Company.
Kallie Marcus, who at one time owned yoga and fitness studio Natural Movement Bermuda, was recently approached by Montana DeBor, her former aerial arts teacher.
Ms DeBor is the general manager of Super American Circus, which will be in Bermuda from October 6 to 8.
Ms Marcus, who works at Saltus Grammar School, explained: “I was helping Ms DeBor organise whatever I could for the circus, when I was asked if I would be interested in doing an aerial act.
“I was a little hesitant at first, as I recently had my second baby, but I have my mother to babysit while I train. So I decided to go and do it.”
Ms Marcus, who has been an aerialist for seven years, encouraged everyone to come to the animal-free event, which will be held in and around The Shed in Dockyard.
She said: “It is a great opportunity to see and experience something different.”
Ms Marcus will not be the only local act to perform in the circus. Students from the Bermuda Jump Rope Federation, aged 10 to 14, will open each show.
Ms DeBor said: “These jump ropers reached out to us.
“After watching some of their videos, we saw how talented they are and we are excited to have them on board.”
Ms Marcus and the jumpers will join international acts, such as daredevil Blake Wallenda, clown Coco Kramer and the award-winning Arestov family in the event.
Tuffy Nicholas, owner and producer of the circus, has worked in the industry for decades and said the show could come to the island every year if October’s run was successful.
He explained: “We may set up a permanent show here, something like Cirque Du Bermuda, that reflects Bermudian culture.”
The circus will donate a portion of all ticket sales to Gina Spence Productions’ Champions Programme, which supports families who have lost loved ones to gun violence.
